Government announces 3-day public holiday from tomorrow

DHAKA, August 4, 2024 (BSS) – The government has announced a three-day public holiday

on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to ensure public safety.

“A three-day public holiday on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday has been announced,”

Public Administration Minister Farhad Hossain told BSS this afternoon.

Earlier, an indefinite curfew was imposed from 6 pm today in Dhaka

Metropolitan area and all divisional headquarters, city corporations,

municipalities, industrial estates and district and upazila headquarters.
