Why public LGBT exhibitions celebrate perversion

Why public LGBT exhibitions celebrate perversion

For the past 20 years, when it comes to LGBT people and issues, I have followed this simple directive from the Lord: “Reach out and resist,” which means, “Reach out to the people with compassion; resist the agenda with courage. ” Or, put another way (and now in the title of a forthcoming book), we should have hearts of compassion and spines of steel.

In that spirit, I do not demonize those who identify as LGBT, as if they were all squirming sexual predators who glorified BDSM practices and delighted in public displays of perversity.

Why, then, have gay pride events for decades been marked by these highly perverted displays? And why were the opening ceremonies of the Olympic Games, intended by planners to draw attention to France’s LGBT community, marked by such perversity?

We can put aside for a moment the debate about how offensive the ceremonies were, particularly the degree of intentionally behind the hideous mockery of DaVinci’s Nativity Portrait, with a drag queen, wearing a crown, taking the place of Jesus.

I will say, though, that the ultimate, ironically tone-deaf comments have come from those who celebrate the event’s “inclusivity,” as if mocking something sacred to Christians was being inclusive to them. To Quote Associated Press direct, “In an unprecedented display of inclusivity, drag queens took the stage at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, showcasing the vibrant and influential role of France’s LGBT community — while drawing criticism over a tableau reminiscent of “The Last Supper”.

Or as expressed of Paris 2024 spokeswoman Anne Descamps, “It was clearly never an intention to show disrespect to any religious group. (The opening ceremony) tried to celebrate the tolerance of society. We believe this ambition was achieved. If people have taken offense, we are truly sorry.”

Oh, the beauty of community tolerance! Would the whole world were tolerant like this!

In the end, sarcasm aside, however you cut the cake, the ceremonies were perverse, with the celebration of drag queens and trans people and the final scene with a throulle (in this case two men and a woman), apparently ready to do their thing behind closed doors. Yes, this showcased “the vibrant and influential role of the French LGBT community.”

In it words by Le Filip, who recently won the “Drag Race France” competition, “The (French) government knows what it’s doing. They want to show off in the best possible way. They showed no restraints in expression.”

And this brings me back to my initial question: Why is that? this how France’s LGBT community wants to be seen and known?

As I have interacted with LGBT-identified individuals over the years, the vast majority of them have been fairly normal in terms of their interests and lifestyles. They are our co-workers, our neighbors, our family members, our friends, working at their jobs, having their relationships, some of them also raising children.

Still, many people I’ve interacted with have had no problem with young children attending absolutely vulgar gay pride events, even with some public nudity events. Something is not right.

In my book from 2011 A queer thing happened to AmericaI noted that “gay activists are so careful to use carefully crafted language to communicate their views, using ‘homosexuals’ rather than ‘homosexuals’, and talking about ‘gay and lesbian civil rights’ rather than a ‘gay agenda’ and refers to ‘sexual orientation’ rather than ‘sexual preference’, just to name a few. This makes it all the more ironic that such public, self-exposing and self-deprecating displays have been standard fare at major gay pride events.”

I then quoted lesbian feminist activist Tammy Bruce, who said, “…if there’s suddenly such an anxiety within gay people about appearing ‘normal’, maybe men in suits should replace men in G-strings at gay pride parades.”

Bruce then recounted “I was at an organizing meeting for a gay pride group that shall remain nameless. One of the bigger arguments at the meeting was over whether to have a giant penis on a float, à la Rose Parade. After a contentious debate, the Giant Penis Float lost, but narrowly. The women in the room were not amused, and a discussion ensued about how negative the gay community appears to the rest of the country when our ambassadors are men dressed as female high school cheerleaders.”

Just like that. But then why are these perversities so regularly celebrated? Why is these flashy behaviors?

I continued, “Just think for a moment how extreme this really is. If traditional couples gathered for a ‘Celebration of Marriage’ day in a public park, little children from the community would feel welcome, and people wouldn’t have to close their eyes and hold ears to avoid contact with vulgar and obscene images, gestures, and words. Yet large gay celebrations around the world are usually marked by nude or half-nude parades, simulated sex acts, and fleets of massive, protruding phalluses. Isn’t this perversity rather than diversity?”

In the book, I documented some of the most outrageous expressions such as large gay pride events, which represented the depth of sexual perversity, and then asked if we could imagine any ethnic group participating in this kind of public celebration. Who in their right mind would associate any of this with Black Pride or Asian Pride or Hispanic Pride or Jewish Pride? But that’s standard fare when it comes to celebrating LGBT Pride. Why?

The answer is that homosexual relationships and transgender expression are fundamentally a violation of God’s plan for humanity, both in terms of the meaning of marriage and the meaning of sex-gender.

Ultimately, regardless of the degree to which every gay or lesbian or transgender person on the planet is a fellow human being, made in God’s image and object of his love, there is something fundamentally wrong with their desires and expressions. In short, it’s about one sexual deviationexpressed either in same-sex attraction or a confused gender identity (and as I write this I realize that in the overwhelming majority of cases this deviation was not asked for or wanted).

When this deviation is celebrated, it brings the perversions to the surface, which also provides fertile ground for satanic expression. These would include a devil-horned drag queen who reads to young children, famous on Pride.com with the caption “This Drag Queen Dressed as a Satanic Goddess to Read to Kids” in honor of LGBT History Month and Halloween.

We can now add the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremonies to this list, now declaring to the entire world the fundamentally disordered nature of all sexualities and expressions that deviate from God’s original design.

May he have mercy and may he redeem.
